Rockstar eCommerce Video Editor | Direct Response VSLs & Viral Videos

Please read the job post in its entirety. We are seeking a talented and experienced video editor to join our ecommerce team on a full-time basis. As a direct response video editor, your primary goal will be to create high-converting video content that generates revenue for our ecommerce business. You should have experience with video sales letters and a proven track record of creating video content that drives sales.

Responsibilities:

Work with the marketing and creative teams to understand project requirements and objectives
Edit and produce direct response video content, including video sales letters and product demos
Use advanced editing software to create visually appealing and persuasive videos
Write compelling scripts and create graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video content
Manage and organize video assets and archives
Ensure that all video content meets branding guidelines and quality standards
Collaborate with other team members to create cohesive and consistent content across all channels
Stay up-to-date with direct response video editing trends and techniques to continually improve the quality of our video content

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in direct response video editing, preferably in an ecommerce or marketing environment
A proven track record of creating high-converting video content that generates revenue
Experience with video sales letters and other direct response marketing techniques
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Strong storytelling and copywriting skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Write the word video at the top of your application in all caps, you’ll be ignored otherwise
A passion for ecommerce and direct response marketing
Understand what a VSL is, how to structure video for hooks, engagement, retention, click through rate, etc.
