We are a fast-growing 5* a vacation rental management company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team full time. You will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely payments, and providing exceptional customer service and work hand in glove with our director of accounting and billing.
As someone who will provide exceptional support to our director of accounting you possess the following qualities and experience. You are passionate and proactive and extraordinarily detail oriented. Possess a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred, or relevant work experience. You have the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks. Lastly, you have strong ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially with a fiduciary mindset.
Accounts Receivable Clerk
Responsibilities:
Prepare, verify, and accurately record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
Create invoices according to company practices and promptly submit them to customers.
Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely receipt of payments and proactively follow up on any overdue payments.
Maintain up-to-date records and fulfill customer requests for documentation.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate records and update customer invoices for any changes.
Complete bank reconciliations for customer payments and deposits.
Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers regarding billing inquiries, payment reminders, and dispute resolutions.
Skills:
Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role, demonstrating knowledge of accounts receivable processes and procedures.
Proficient in accounting software, particularly Quickbooks, and familiarity with invoicing systems, payment processors, and CRM software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage a large volume of customer accounts and invoices.
Excellent communication skills for professional and courteous interaction with customers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred, or relevant work experience.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
