Hello! We are looking for a rockstar research assistant to help us with online research tasks that are related to travel planning! You’ll be spending most of your time researching different travel destinations, hotels/resorts, restaurants, attractions, and more. Your daily responsibilities would include:
1. Researching different travel destinations, hotels/resorts, restaurants, attractions, and more.
2. Creating Google Sheets/Excel files that are organized with your research.
3. Meeting with team members to review your research
4. Watching training videos and learning new training that we provide
To qualify for the position, you should have:
1. Online research experience (required)
2. Excellent English (required)
2. Google sheets/Excel experience (required)
3. An interest in travel research (preferred)
It’s really important that our research assistant is:
1. A hard worker and fast learner! You are willing to put in the work to provide us the best research. If given clear directions, you learn fast and pick up a task fast.
2. Pays incredibly close attention to detail. Being detail oriented is very very important! *So important, when you apply, be sure to put the text “I’m a rockstar research assistant” in the subject heading and we will prioritize your application!
3. Follows instructions to the letter. It is crucial that the training we provide is followed exactly as demonstrated.
In addition to having excellent English skills , you’ll need to use the applications we listed below. You don’t need to be an expert in all of them, but you need to be at least familiar with most of them.
– Web research using Google and Google Maps. *Very Important*
– Web research using travel websites such as , TripAdvisor, Travel Blogs, and more. *Very important*
– Google Docs *Very important*
– Google Sheets *Very important*
– Google Slides
– Communications apps like Skype, WhatsApp,
Telegram, Slack, Hangouts, FB messenger, etc
– Project management software (Notion, Basecamp, Trello,
Asana, Evernote, Google Docs)
– Time management or time tracking software
(TimeProof, Time Doctor, Tmetric, Toggle)
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). All hours must be tracked through time tracking software.
It is important that you will be able to collaborate during eastern time zone work hours for 20 hours per week. We are willing to try and figure out a schedule that is a good fit for both of us during these hours! The other 20 hours are flexible.
After the 6 month probation period, you will qualify for 3 paid vacation leaves and 3 paid sick leaves.

Salary
$400 – $500/month for full-time work (40 hours a week)
