We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team and work closely with our Chief Video Editor to enhance and elevate our video content. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring our videos are engaging, impactful, and aligned with our brand vision.

– Understanding of Guitar: Familiarity with playing the guitar at an intermediate level + is preferred, as this greatly enhances the ability to contribute to guitar-related content and accurate overlays within our videos

– Deadline-Oriented: Capacity to work efficiently under tight deadlines without compromising quality or creativity.

Responsibilities:
As a Video Editor at Guitar Mastery Method, your responsibilities will include:
– Collaborating with our Chief Video Editor to conceptualise, storyboard, and edit engaging video content.
– Ensuring all video content is aligned with brand guidelines and objectives.
– Incorporating feedback to refine and enhance video projects.
– Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing and marketing.
– Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation in video content strategy.
– Contributing to the development of innovative video concepts and formats to drive audience engagement and growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical proficiency in video editing.
– Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition. Also Adobe After Effects & Guitar Pro
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds.
– A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering visually compelling and emotionally resonant video content.
– Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

This allows us to assess your video editing skills and ability to work within a deadline. These will be assessed for overall quality, attention to detail and alignment with how we create and edit our videos and Guitar Mastery Method by our Product Manager and Senior Video Editor, then the Top 5 candidates will be asked to complete the final TEST JOB 2
