We are seeking a skilled and motivated App Developer to join our team on a short-term contract to bring to life a smart TV app for our Airbnb properties. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in app development, particularly for smart TV platforms, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects within tight timelines.

Responsibilities:

Requirements Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for the smart TV app.
Understand the information flow from the property management software to the smart TVs.
Platform Selection:
Choose the appropriate smart TV platform (e.g., Roku, Apple TV, Android TV) based on project requirements.
Integration with Property Management Software:
Develop a seamless integration with the property management software to fetch relevant information for display on smart TVs.
User Authentication:
Implement a secure user authentication system to ensure that only authorized guests can access the app.
User Interface Design:
Work closely with the design team to create an intuitive and visually appealing user interface that suits the smart TV environment.
Local Content Storage:
Implement mechanisms for storing necessary information locally on the smart TV to ensure a smooth user experience, even in the absence of a stable network connection.
Testing:
Conduct thorough testing of the app on different smart TV platforms, screen sizes, and resolutions.
Identify and fix any bugs or issues that may arise during testing.
Security Measures:
Implement security measures to protect guest information and ensure compliance with privacy laws.
Distribution Strategy:
Decide on the distribution method for the app in Airbnb properties and ensure a smooth deployment process.
Documentation:
