Our client has a catering franchisee (15+ stores across 2 states) looking to build additional office functionality to increase growth. Some areas for thought include catering sales outreach, operations camera monitoring, data analysis, and reporting. Also to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Sales- Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities. Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, and preparing sales reports. Account Managers also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers.
Responsibilities
Cold Calling and Sales:
– Utilize the available business data to identify potential clients in the area.
– Conduct cold calls to promote and sell the catering program of Jersey Mike’s stores.
– Effectively communicate the unique selling points and benefits of the catering program to potential customers.
– Maintain a database or CRM system to track leads, follow-ups, and sales progress.
Day-to-Day Management Support:
– Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the 15 Jersey Mike’s store franchises.
– Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings for the franchise owner and management team.
– Support general administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and organizing information.
Store Operations Support:
– Assist in coordinating store activities, including inventory management, staffing, and customer service.
– Help streamline processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
– Provide support in resolving operational issues and addressing store-level concerns.
– Assist in implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance.
Client Relationship Management:
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential catering clients.
– Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring client satisfaction and resolving any issues that may arise.
– Maintain accurate client records, including contact details, preferences, and interactions.
– Regularly follow up with clients to gather feedback, assess their needs, and identify upselling opportunities.
Strategy Support:
– Assist in developing sales and marketing strategies to expand the catering program.
– Provide insights and suggestions to improve sales and operational strategies.
Additional Responsibilities:
– Support sales efforts by preparing sales materials, presentations, and proposals specific to the catering program.
– Continuously improve product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries and promote the catering program.
– Provide ad hoc support as required by the franchise owner or management team.
Requirements:
At least 2+ years of work experience as an Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Proficient in CRM software and MS Office.
Strong leadership skills
