We are a full service sign shop in Riverside, Missouri in the USA. We do design, production, and installation. We offer indoor signs, outdoor signs, vehicle graphics, and promotional/paper products.
We are looking for a dedicated and personable Sales Assistant to join our team. As the sole Sales Assistant, you will conduct follow-up calls with clients and prospects to help close deals.
Your target is to increase our closing rate by 50%
This involves identifying objections (why the customer has not bought yet) and helping solve the objection.
For example, perhaps the customer thinks $400 is too high. But when you ask them their budget, they say it is $350. You can then check with the owner (Amil) and ask him if $350 is acceptable. If he says yes, you can close the deal or have Amil close it.
You must be willing to spend significant time learning about the sign industry. Every sign is different, so it is not a simple product to sell. It will take 3-6 months for you to learn the basics and get comfortable with the many different products we offer.
**Responsibilities:**
– Create and manage activities in Pipedrive for each deal.
– Conduct follow-up calls independently.
– Pull up estimates and proofs during the research phase.
– Identify objections and offer solutions, such as thinner materials or alternative materials like plastic instead of metal.
– Establish a time for the next follow-up.
– If no answer, leave a message and follow up via email and text.
– Complete and update activities in Pipedrive.
– Inform Amil to mark deals as won, lost, or on hold.
– Maintain accurate records of client interactions.
– Provide exceptional customer service.
– Identify potential upsell opportunities.
– Assist with other sales-related tasks as needed.
– only call, email, and text within the following time window: Monday-Friday during standard US business hours (9am-5pm CST)
**Criteria and Skills:**
– Seeking an extrovert with an upbeat, excited communication style
– Personable and able to build strong client relationships.
– Fluent in English (spoken and written).
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong organizational and time management skills.
– Accurate record keeping of all customer calls.
– Experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
– Proficiency with CRM software (preferably Pipedrive) and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
– High attention to detail and accuracy.
