We are on the hunt for an ambitious and proactive person to join our team as the crucial role of Sales and Business Development Executive.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an outbound sales environment and is skilled at identifying, qualifying, and closing leads. As a crucial part of our growth strategy, this position will directly contribute to our expansion efforts. This year our goal is to get our newest product, Avensi Wave, into every specialty coffee shop around the world!
This is a fully remote role with a fast-paced, rewarding environment. If you excel in this position, there’s plenty of opportunities for growth–you could be our next Director of Sales or even our CSO (Chief Sales Officer)!

As our Sales and Business Development Specialist, you will be instrumental in driving our outbound sales efforts as well as improving our sales processes and systems. This involves not just reaching out to potential leads, but also creatively engaging them, understanding their needs, and closing deals. You’ll have the chance to develop your skills in sales strategy, developing new outreach strategies, and finding unique ways to create/automate/improve our sales systems.

YOUR ROLE ON THE TEAM:
* Proactively seek out new sales and business opportunities through lead generation research, inbound leads, outbound emailing, cold calling, and other creative ways to fill our sales pipeline with qualified leads.
* Drive the sales process starting from lead generation all the way through to closing
* Help create and improve our sales systems including: lead generation, outbound email systems, back-end processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline and grow our sales operations
* Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and pursue targeted sales leads, enhancing lead generation efforts
* Maintain and develop relationships with clients, understanding their needs and how our existing or future products can support their businesses
* Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities and analyze data to develop strategies for increasing conversion rates.
* Contribute to our positive team culture by bringing ideas, a collaborative spirit, and a fun attitude!
ABOUT YOU / REQUIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE:
When it comes to skills, we’re all learning on the go. We don’t expect you to know everything but you’ll have to be ready and willing to learn. In order to be successful at this role, you need to bring this to the table:
Must have skills or experience:
* 1+ years of proven experience in sales, specifically in an outbound sales role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* 1+ years experience with phone sales–outbound cold calling or inbound phone sales
* Fluent in English–both written & verbal
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of effectively engaging potential clients and closing deals.
* You have a can-do mentality. If you can’t do it now, you WILL figure it out. Success is the only answer.
* You are extremely self-motivated. This role is yours to create and we’re looking for you to take initiative without hand holding–and that should feel exciting.
* Attention to detail is your thing! You maintain a high degree of accuracy while adapting quickly to new information and new processes.
* You’re comfortable with constructive criticism. If we notice that you can improve at something, we’ll talk to you about it. We’ll be respectful, but direct and quick. Do not apply if you’re not comfortable with constructive criticism.
Optional but a big plus:
* Experience working at a start-up or dynamic company where you took on multiple functions/roles
* Experience working in a smaller company improving or automating sales processes to increase efficiency.
* Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools to streamline sales processes.
* A knack for improving or automating sales processes to increase efficiency.
* Background or interest in the specialty coffee industry.

PAY, WORKING HOURS, HOW TO APPLY:

The position is for a full time position, however at the beginning as we ramp up your hours will start at 10-30 hours/week depending on the workload and how quickly you learn. Full time monthly base salary will be $300-500 based on your skills and level of relevant experience plus commissions.
