Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales and Marketing Representative to join our team on a part-time basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate new business for Spark Imagination Publishing by leveraging social media and other appropriate platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for books and a proven track record in sales and marketing, including cold emailing, market research, and cold calling.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media and Online Presence:
– Create and maintain a strong online presence for Spark Imagination Publishing on various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
– Develop and implement effective social media marketing strategies to engage with potential authors and generate leads.

2. Content Creation:
– Generate engaging content, including blog posts, articles, and visuals, to attract and educate potential clients.
– Share relevant industry news and updates to establish Spark Imagination Publishing as a thought leader in self-publishing.

3. Lead Generation:
– Identify and target potential authors and clients through market research.
– Utilize cold emailing and cold calling techniques to reach out to prospective clients and generate interest in our services.

4. Relationship Building:
– Build and nurture relationships with potential authors and clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
– Maintain regular communication with leads and follow up on inquiries.

5. Sales Strategy:
– Develop and execute effective sales strategies to convert leads into clients.
– Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals.

6. Reporting and Analysis:
– Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
– Provide regular reports and insights to improve marketing strategies.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on lead generation.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Competency in cold emailing and cold calling techniques.
– Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation.
– Strong research and analytical skills.
– Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
