Our primary company is Carpe Diem Tours, a local tour company based in Rome. We specialise in a variety of small groups, personal experiences including Colosseum and Vatican Tours, walking tours, ghost tours and more.
Other companies under the Global Experiences umbrella include Rome with Chef and Rome Food Tours, specialising in Italian cooking classes and local culinary experiences. Our latest and most exciting venture is the Tipsy Tour, an exciting nightlife experience now operating in 6 European cities, and currently expanding!

Role Overview:
As an account manager at our tour company, you will play a pivotal role in managing our existing relationships with our partners. You will organize their upcoming schedules and reservations – providing dedicated assistance to them. When you aren’t managing existing partners, you will be helping to expand our network of partnerships with small, medium, and large-sized travel businesses. You will be using a predetermined outreach process through Linked Inn, Google, and other platforms to increase our partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
* Maintain and nurture relationships with existing travel business partners. This involves organizing their tours and reservations.
* Ensure high levels of satisfaction and engagement through regular communication and support.
* Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our tour packages and services
Partnership Outreach:
* Conduct research to identify potential new partners within the travel industry.
* Develop and execute outreach strategies to establish connections and initiate partnerships.
* Negotiate terms and agreements to establish mutually beneficial partnerships
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
* Track key performance metrics related to partnership initiatives.
* Prepare regular reports to assess the effectiveness of partnerships and identify areas for improvement.?
Qualifications and Skills:
Administration, Marketing, Sales, Outreach, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in partnership development, account management, or sales within any industry (preferred).
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM software (we use – but any CRM is fine)
The candidate must have a well-crafted LinkedIn profile that effectively showcases their professional experience, skills, and accomplishments.
The candidate must be presentable and polished with a good tech setup – you will be hosting meetings on behalf of our business.
The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in leveraging LinkedIn as a networking tool to connect with professionals within the travel industry.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to support partnership development efforts.
This position will start with 40 hours per week of training with the CEO Russell Hammond and will be a full time role (there is a probation period of 1 month)
SHIFT HOUR
Working hours will be 8 AM – 4 PM Rome, Italy time (3 PM – 11 AM PHT).
TRAINING PAY
4USD an Hour
REGULAR PAYMENT
Payment will be $4.70 per hour, $752 per month.
