Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Proposal Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing solicitation documents, updating bid statuses, generating reports, reaching out to potential clients, conducting pitches, and assisting with marketing tasks. This role is crucial in driving the growth and success of our organization in the target industry.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Opportunities:
-Conduct a weekly search for at least 5 relevant new business opportunities in the target industry.
-Identify and evaluate potential opportunities to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

Solicitation Document Review:
-Complete a thorough review of solicitation documents within 24 hours of receipt.
-Summarize key information and present findings in the weekly GNG (Go/No-Go) meeting.

Bid Status Management:
-Regularly check and update the status of unreleased opportunities and active bids.
-Provide timely updates to the team to ensure everyone is informed of current bid statuses.

GNG Summary Report:
-Generate a comprehensive GNG summary report within 48 hours after the meeting.
-Coordinate all required documents with the estimating team to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Client Outreach:
-Proactively reach out to at least 3 potential clients per week.
-Schedule capability meetings within the next 2 weeks to discuss potential collaborations.

Pitching and Follow-ups:
-Conduct at least 10 effective pitches via call/email per week.
-Aim to secure at least 2 follow-up meetings with interested clients to further discuss opportunities.

Vendor Pre-qualifications:
-Conduct vendor pre-qualifications for all potential suppliers within 48 hours of receiving the request.
-Ensure suppliers meet the company’s standards and requirements.

Event Participation:
-Attend webinars, virtual meet and greets, and other events that provide opportunities to connect with clients.
-Network and build relationships to expand the company’s client base.

Marketing Assistance:
-Assist the marketing team with customer service support, project details, photos, and presentations.
-Contribute to the creation and dissemination of marketing materials to support business development efforts.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is a plus.
