My name is Nick, co-founder and CEO of Spyglass. We are a venture backed startup with team members in New York and San Francisco. In short, Spyglass provides a security platform for data teams. We are looking for a remote team member to join and help us scale our sales development and operational efforts.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for an ambitious individual to team up across both our sales development and operational efforts. As an integral part of team Spyglass, you’ll be working side-by-side with me on the below mentioned responsibilities. None of the below tasks are things that I’m not already doing myself today and will continue to do in the future : )

The primary responsibilities of the Sales Development Assistant include:

1) Lead Generation List Building:
— Using LinkedIn to research companies and individuals for us to prospect
— List building of accounts and prospects based on the campaigns we decide to engage in

2) Cold Email and LinkedIn Outreach:
— Use LinkedIn, (email acquisition) and (email automation) for cold outreach
— Leverage existing messaging to craft compelling personalized emails
— Monitor and manage email and LinkedIn campaigns for response rates and engagement

3) Appointment Setting:
— Skillfully handle prospect questions on LinkedIn and in email
— Schedule and coordinate meetings for the Spyglass team
— Helping to schedule non-sales related appointments for our team

4) Recruiting
— Vetting out and qualifying candidate applications
— Scheduling candidate interviews for the Spyglass team

5) General Special Projects
— As a startup, we will have various research projects that we will need your help with that will be similar to the above mentioned responsibilities

Qualifications:
— College degree is preferred
— Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
— Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
— Attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and record keeping
— Experience with LinkedIn, email automation products, Google Workspace (Documents, Sheets, Calendar etc) and Salesforce is a plus

Work Schedule:
— 3pm to 11pm Pacific Time, Monday through Friday (6am to 2pm Philippine time), if you’d prefer to work earlier hours Pacific Time that is possible as well
— Daily check-in call with myself to help with questions, help with training on tasks, align on projects etc.

Interview Process:
1) Complete the writing test and application (below in “How to Apply”)
2) Once we’re able to review and decide to more forward, complete a provided research test (assignment researching 3 companies or 1-hour of work)
3) 45-minute interview via Google Meet video conference with myself
