Job Description

We are a marketing agency seeking a well-spoken Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our remote team of freelancers and contractors. As an SDR, you will play a vital role in expanding our client base and serving as the face of our company to prospective clients. You will be responsible for initiating and maintaining communication with potential customers, building professional relationships, and generating new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
– Identify and prospect potential clients, and develop effective sales strategies to attract them to our services.
– Initiate contact with potential customers through cold calls, email outreach, and LinkedIn.
– Build relationships with customers to understand their needs and qualify their interests for driving sales.
– Present product information to customers, showcasing how our services can meet their requirements.
– Conduct regular follow-up calls or emails to ensure customer satisfaction and identify new business opportunities.
– Research companies to determine their suitability and fit with our services.
– Schedule high-quality meetings and product demonstrations for our Account Executives/Project Managers.
– Actively participate in meetings with the sales team to provide updates on ongoing efforts.
– Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the effectiveness of the SDR role.
– Embrace a mindset of continuous learning, challenging the status quo, and staying updated on AI and automation advancements.

Requirements:
– Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales, Business, Marketing, or related fields.
– Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, with strong proofreading, editing, and writing ability, is an absolute must
– Strong work ethic and self-motivation to achieve sales targets.
– Ability to think strategically and tactically to drive business growth.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Highly organized with good time management skills.
– Active listening skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges.
– Experience collaborating with internal and cross-functional teams.
– Proficient in negotiation and persuasion techniques.
– Patient and skilled in practicing good phone etiquette.
– Strong computer literacy skills.
– Experience using CRM tools such as Active Campaign or similar.
– Familiarity with cold calling techniques.
– Knowledge of Digital Marketing, including SEO/PPC, is a plus.
