Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Development Representative to join our digital ad agency. As a Sales Development Representative, your primary responsibility will be to generate leads for our agency, specifically focusing on direct-to-consumer (D2C) or business-to-consumer (B2C) clients. You will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our agency by identifying and engaging potential clients, nurturing relationships, conducting client-related research, and ultimately setting up appointments for our sales team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify potential D2C or B2C clients through various channels, including online platforms, social media, industry events, and referrals. Utilize tools and resources to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
2. Qualification and Outreach: Conduct effective outreach to potential clients via phone calls, emails, and social media platforms. Engage in meaningful conversations to understand their advertising needs, qualify their interest and fit, and educate them about our agency’s services and solutions.
3. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with leads through consistent communication and follow-up. Act as a trusted advisor by providing insights, addressing inquiries, and offering relevant information to nurture their interest and move them through the sales funnel.
4. Client-Related Research: Conduct research on potential clients to gather relevant information such as industry trends, competitor analysis, and specific pain points. Utilize this research to tailor communication and demonstrate a deep understanding of their needs.
5. Appointment Setting: Collaborate closely with the sales team to schedule appointments and demos with qualified leads. Ensure a smooth handoff by providing comprehensive background information and relevant context to the sales representatives.
6. Sales Support: Assist the sales team in preparing sales materials, presentations, and proposals tailored to the specific needs and goals of potential clients. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to the sales process.
7. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions, activities, and progress using our CRM system. Continuously analyze data to identify trends, track performance, and provide insights to optimize lead generation strategies.
Requirements:
– Previous experience in sales or lead generation, preferably in the digital advertising industry or related field.
– Strong knowledge and understanding of D2C or B2C advertising strategies and trends.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse clients.
– Proactive and self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
– Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and prioritize tasks effectively.
– Proficient in using CRM systems and sales tools to track and manage leads.
– Must have their own device (computer/laptop) and reliable internet connection
– Comfortable working in Central Standard Time (CST) hours
Preferred Qualifications:
– Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Google Drive, Apollo, Instantly, Neverbounce, and Sendpotion is highly desirable.
– Experience using these tools to streamline lead generation processes, manage data effectively, and enhance communication and collaboration within the sales team.
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
