**Sales Representative for a Mission-Driven Peer Support Startup**

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing venture backed startup in the mental health space that is making a positive impact on people’s lives.

**Your Day-to-Day**

As a sales representative at our client, your will use targeted lead lists (provided to you) to cold call prospective members and persuade them to sign up for a monthly group membership. Your focus will be on high-volume cold calling (e.g. 250 calls per day), qualification of prospective members, overcoming objections, and skillfully guiding the conversation towards a successful membership sign-up (during or immediately after the call).

**Need to have qualifications:**

– 1+ year of experience in cold-calling for direct-to-consumer sales
– Comfortable with cold-calling and rejection
– A skilled listener who can build rapport, uncover needs and tailor your approach accordingly
– Fluent in English and speaks in a way that is easy understand
– Excellent written communication skills
– Proficient in using CRM software and other sales-related technology, including SalesLoft and SalesForce.
– Tenacious and results-oriented, driven to achieve sales goals
– A quick learner with a willingness to embrace new ideas and techniques
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– A high-grit, results-focused, and social personality.
– Work 40 hours per week during US hours

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

– Conduct high-volume cold calling to prospective peer group members using targeted lead lists and a call script provided by the company, a minimum of 250 dials per day conducted at optimal times for live connection.
– Develop engaging conversation starters, hooks, and talking points tailored to each group’s focus. Able to ask a lot of questions in a way that feels natural and helpful.
– Conducts deep needs discovery and is able to understand the individual’s needs and challenges and connect their needs to the value of a group
– Uncover objections and helps the prospect address their own objections related to price, time commitment, group fit, and facilitator fit.
– Effectively communicate the benefits of membership and how it can address their specific situation
– Skillfully guide the conversation toward a successful membership sign-up
– Maintain a positive demeanor throughout all interactions
– Effectively manage your time to maximize call volume and productivity
– Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for member sign-ups
– Accurately record call data in the CRM system
– Continuously learn and refine your sales techniques through coaching and feedback
– Provide near real-time feedback to the management team about market insights gleaned from consumer conversations
