Sales Development Representative

Our company is a venture-backed technology company based in New York. We help construction
machinery manufacturers and dealerships answer technical questions and identify spare parts
faster using advanced data ingestion and generative AI.
We are looking for a high-energy and dynamic Sales Development Representative to provide
pre-sales support. This role will be responsible for outbound sales and related inquiries with a
focus on engaging and qualifying all prospective customers. This role is one of the first touch
points for prospects and has the opportunity to set the tone for the sales cycle following.
? Generate prospecting lists of decision-makers in target accounts using compliant and accurate
contact data
? Book outbound meetings through cold calls, emails, social outreach, and networking with ideal-fit
customers
? Follow up and engage with prospects (including C-suite/Directors) who have enquired about the
company’s product or service
? Manage relationships with existing clients
? Deliver relevant marketing content to prospects
? Research your prospect’s coworkers to find other stakeholders
? Follow up on existing contacts in our CRM to identify new potential needs
? Use LinkedIn, CRM, sales enablement tools, and sales intelligence to improve processes
The profile we are looking for:
? Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools: Hubspot,
LinkedIn, Google Apps, Microsoft Office, etc.
? Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
? Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business
to value that can be provided by Digital Iron.
? Strong and professional communication skills — written, verbal, presentation
? Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently while achieving
production goals from machinery dealers in the US.
? Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Acts without being
told what to do. Brings new ideas to the company
? Contributes fully to the team effort and plays an integral part in the smooth running of teams
without necessarily taking the lead
