The mission of this role is to scale more rapidly and efficiently to reach $1 million in revenue within 12 months, by 1) Implementing significant improvements and new efforts in our Marketing & Sales efforts, 2) developing a strong, efficient, and consistent sales process; and 3) boost Communication First! ideals and sales velocity.
With effective sales development, prospects are primed for decision-making when they’re handed over to sales closers (i.e. appointments with Tax Professionals), making the close of the deal easier to achieve.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
– Generate leads for appointment setting
– Research and enrich leads
– Identify Marketing (MQLs) and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and engage with those leads
– Conduct outbound calls to qualify leads and book appointments with Tax Professionals to convert into real sales opportunities
– Work across exciting campaigns focused on quality calls
– Maintain a database of leads and customers in InfusionSoft
– Additional outbound calls and emails to prospects and existing clients (such as renewal/retention calls, surveys, post-appointment follow-up calls, quote/engagement follow-up calls, old leads, asking for referrals, referral partnerships, influencers, backlink resources, etc).
– Sending engagement letters to prospects/existing clients
– Handle objections
– Closing sales (not closed in appointment with Tax Professional)
Qualifications:
– Excellent English communication skills
– Ability to think on your feet – the ability to get to the point where not reading off of a script
– The “Right” Personality – outgoing & excited
– At least a year or more of proven and intensive experience in the following: inside sales, outbound cold calling, and appointment setting. Experience working with a US company is an advantage.
– Experience in lead generation is a plus
– Ability to listen, understand and build rapport with prospects by showing professionalism, in an engaging and friendly phone manner
– Shows positive attitude, stays focused, and ability to continuously achieve daily set target of leads, appointments, and daily number of calls
– High level of tenacity and motivation
– Is able to take us through demonstrated examples of:
– A structured approach to call quality and database building
– Strategy on how to connect with prospects, create rapport, and secure meetings
– Have formal training in outbound calling success
– Have an upbeat personality
