To further our growth in key markets, we are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representative (India/Middle East) to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in the growth and success of our company. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, conducting research to understand their needs and pain points, and delivering compelling messaging to generate interest in our products or services. You will be working independently, involved in day-to-day sales activities, establishing and maintaining vendor relationships, and other administrative tasks. You will report directly to the Sales Manager. This is a remote working role; upon request, a membership to a coworking space will be provided. You will be required to work India/ME time.
Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new leads through various channels, including but not limited to cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement
Conduct thorough research to understand potential clients’ industries, pain points, and needs
Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria and pass on to the sales team for further follow-up
Deliver compelling and concise messaging to prospects, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products or services
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, documenting all interactions and updates in the CRM system
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless handover of leads and ensure effective communication throughout the sales process
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to identify potential opportunities for growth
Requirements
Diploma or prior experience in logistics/shipping/maritime is an advantage
Proven experience in a sales or business development role is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong phone presence and experience making cold calls
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Highly motivated with a strong desire to achieve and exceed targets
Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
