Our client offers a digital reading and literacy platform for students learning the English language. They are a fast growing, mission driven startup looking to expand into new global markets. Successful candidates will be provided with training on our systems and processes.

Role Overview:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Asia will play a crucial role in driving our outbound sales efforts across the Pacific region. This individual will be responsible for researching potential customers, reaching out via cold calls, email, and social media, attending discovery and demo calls, and updating our CRMs, spreadsheets, and databases with pertinent information.

Key Responsibilities:
-Research and identify potential schools, educators, and organizations that would benefit from our platform.
-Generate leads by reaching out to potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media.
-Schedule and participate in discovery and demo calls along with the Sales Director for interested leads.
-Utilize CRM and technology systems to track leads and sales activities, ensuring databases and spreadsheets are up to date.
-Collaborate with the sales and leadership team to ensure seamless transition of leads.
-Report on weekly activity, including outreach details, successes, and next steps.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
-1-2 years of sales or lead generation experience including outbound calling.
-Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
-Proficient in English, both verbally and written.
-Experience with CRM, word processing and spreadsheet software.
-Excellent internet researching skills.
-A self-starter with strong initiative.
-Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively.
-Ability to multitask, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
-Ability to speak multiple languages is not mandatory, but beneficial.
