**Position Overview:**

Matador Lending & Matador Realty Group, a leading real estate finance company, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities for our commercial real estate lending services, with a particular emphasis on engaging owners looking to refinance or purchase new properties.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Lead Generation and Qualification:
– Proactively identify and source potential leads through cold calling, LinkedIn, industry events, and other networking opportunities.
– Qualify leads by gauging interest in our lending services and ensuring alignment with our product offerings.

2. Outreach and Engagement:
– Execute targeted outreach strategies using a mix of phone calls, emails, and social media to engage and nurture potential clients. Note that this role will have a minimum of 100-200 outbound calls per day required through our dialing software.
– Deliver a strong value proposition, addressing the specific needs and challenges of commercial real estate owners.

3. CRM Management:
– Diligently maintain and update our CRM system to track interactions, feedback, and the progression of leads through the sales pipeline.
– Ensure accurate and timely recording of all engagement activities.

4. Market Research:
– Continuously gather insights about the commercial real estate market, identifying trends and potential challenges for clients.
– Share insights with the broader sales and marketing teams to refine our messaging and product offerings.

5. Collaborate with Sales Team:
– Provide regular feedback and insights to the sales team, helping refine engagement strategies.
– Transfer qualified leads to account executives, ensuring a seamless transition and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients.

6. Meet and Exceed Targets:
– Consistently achieve or surpass weekly and monthly quotas of qualified opportunities.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
– Prior experience in sales or business development, preferably within the real estate or finance sector.
– Willingness to make multiple cold calls daily
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
– Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
– Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales targets and contribute to the team’s success.
– Understanding of commercial real estate finance is a plus.
