Role Overview: As the Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in defining strategies to achieve target sales numbers and drive business growth. Your expertise in sales, along with online and e-commerce sales experience, will be essential in creating effective sales strategies for new and existing products and markets. You will work closely with the marketing department to align sales strategies and develop customer acquisition and retention plans, including subscription and auto-renewal initiatives.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Sales Strategy Development – Define effective strategies to meet and exceed target sales numbers and achieve business objectives.
Data Organization for Targeted Sales – Organize and maintain the sales database to support targeted sales efforts.
Collaborate with Marketing – Work closely with the marketing department to create cohesive sales and marketing strategies.
Customer Acquisition and Retention – Develop plans for customer acquisition and retention to drive long-term growth.
Subscription and Auto-Renewal Initiatives – Implement strategies for developing and increasing subscriptions and auto-renewals.
Identify Target Audiences – Use market analysis to identify the right target audiences and design effective sales strategies.
Utilize Tools – Work with Shopify, Constant Contact and Google Analytics for data analysis and sales support.
Conversion Analysis – Analyze marketing-to-sales conversion data to optimize performance and improve sales results.
Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Sales Director with a track record of achieving sales goals and strategies. Professional experience in online and e-commerce sales, preferably in the publishing or digital media industry. Ability to collaborate with the marketing department to align sales and marketing strategies. A strategic mindset with the ability to develop effective sales plans and customer acquisition strategies. Proficiency in data analysis and using insights to drive sales and business growth. Effective communication and collaboration skills while working remotely with cross-functional teams.
