Job Description :
ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
As a Sales Engineer, you shall be required to explore new market segment and promote company products aggressively. You shall be responsible for driving the sales growth and profitability for assigned market segments.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Present products or services in the industry that would be beneficial to your client’s business
– Plan detailed presentations of company’s product information, pricing and benefits that can be promoted to clients
– Develop products or program suggestions for clients and successfully sell to them
– Manage billing and delivery of products
– Make appointments with clients and meet them for sales presentations
– Follow up on solid products to ensure the customer is happy
– Stay updated on your field’s knowledge
– Research and continue to read, study & analyze new data
– Acquire new customers by winning them over from competitors and discovering new opportunities
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR:
– Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in any field, preferable in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing.
– Minimum 1 years of relevant working experience in electronics or semiconductor industry.
– Preferably Sales Engineers with exposure in electronics and semiconductor industries with 1 years in Sales & Marketing in the related field
– Willingness and ability to travel 10% to 70% of the time, depending on the position and sales role
– Creativity to approach potential customers and existing customers to build customer relationships in ground breaking new ways
– Excellent written and oral communication skills
– Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales
– Solid experience in your products’ industry
– Excellent organizational skills and aptitude for details
– Computer proficiency and the ability to accurately enter data and generate reports
– Negotiation and social problem-solving skills
– Ability to work in a high-stress sales environment and multitask
– Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks.
– Enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging yet fun environment.
– A highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiatives and follow up with details.
– A good team player and communicator.
