Job Description

As a Sales Executive at Hawthorne Logistics, you will own all aspects of the sales cycle. You will be responsible for managing leads from various sources, developing and implementing a CRM, communicating with potential clients, scheduling appointments, coordinating logistics activities, and managing overall account relationships. You will play a key role in helping our customers grow their logistics business and plan future logistics activities.

Responsibilities:

– Manage leads from email, partner networks, and our website.
– Develop, implement, and manage a CRM system.
– Communicate with leads to introduce our services and schedule appointments.
– Coordinate logistics activities with customers.
– Manage overall account relationships.
– Assist customers in growing their logistics business and planning future logistics activities.
– Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential markets.
– Analyze market trends and competitors to inform sales strategies and positioning.
– Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to meet company objectives.
– Set and track sales targets, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve goals.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
– Prepare and present proposals and quotations to prospective clients.
– Negotiate contracts and terms of service with clients to secure deals.
– Generate regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasted sales.
– Analyze sales data to measure effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.
– Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of logistics services.
– Coordinate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns to support sales efforts.
– Train and mentor junior sales staff as the team grows.
– Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve services and customer satisfaction.
– Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote services and generate leads.
– Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
– Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions.

Requirements:

– Proven experience in sales, preferably in logistics or related industries.
– Strong understanding of CRM systems.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
– Self-motivated with a strong drive for results.
– Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
