Role Purpose: The sales admin is responsible for providing administrative support to the sales department, including managing sales data, generating reports, researching leads, client contract setup and assisting with customer inquiries. The sales admin works closely with the sales manager, finance and client services team.

1. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Desirable: (min 3 areas of experience preferred for the role. These are the “nice to haves”)
• Understanding of CKAN or any data management service
• Experience in working for international clients
• Scrum knowledge
Essential: (qualifications and experience essential for the role. These are the “must haves”)
• BS in sales, marketing or a related field
• Proven 5 year+ work experience as a Sales Admin or similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in delivering excellent customer service
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Knack for written and oral communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong administrative skills, including the ability to manage and organise data, maintain records and CRM, and perform clerical tasks such as scheduling and managing calendars.

• Ability to use modern tools to complete research projects for prospects and clients.
• Research and review international RFP’s and propose RFP’s that should go into the Bid/No-Bid process.

3. RESPONSIBILITIES, OBJECTIVES AND DELIVERABLES
(Deliverables need to be SMART: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely)
• Support the sales manager in achieving their targets by providing necessary administrative support.
• Thorough understanding of Link‘s sales qualification process, including lead qualification and client fit assessment.
• Assess and respond to client enquiries.
• Manage and update the sales pipeline in Insightly.
• Work closely with the Sales Manager on opportunities and other sales-related matters
• Regularly prepare accurate sales reports and analyses to track progress against targets
• In-charge of creating client and product serial codes
• Draft quotations and/or proposals to clients
• Acts as the Contract Manager
• Coordinate with the other departments for smooth flow of communication and timely delivery of services.
• Research global tenders for Link Digital services.
• Client research projects that find new contract and potential client projects.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s IT products, services, pricing and contract structure.

Monday – Friday, Fully remote

Mirror the working hours of the Sales Manager located in NSW
3) Would they need to be flexible with these hours?
With an internationally disperse team and clients, these hours will need to be flexible. Meetings may need to occur outside of the regular time zone work hours which they will be expected to attend.
4) Would you require them to do overtime if necessary?
Link’s internal policy is that paid overtime needs to be approved prior to the hours being worked. It is unlikely that overtime will be necessary for this role, but it is a possibility.
