Job Description

Ok, I will keep it short and sweet, I’m Sammy. We are a fairly new small business located in New Jersey, USA and going on in our 3rd year in the business. We are expanding our team virtually to take care of all calls, administrative work and lite bookkeeping of the company. If you know bookkeeping or accounting, this would be awesome, but not necessary.
We are a photo booth, mobile bar, and throne rental company that caters to our client’s wedding, sweet 16, birthday, corporate event, etc.
This position is a mixture of sales calls, to cold and warm sales calls, there will be B2B sales, Business to Business. You must be warm and friendly. We are seeking someone that knows how to lead generate, get customers to book our services.
During or prior to the call, enter the lead into our system, contact the lead via e-mail, phone, answer any questions or concerns and do any follow-up as needed. Update the sales pipeline as needed. Once the customer has signed a contract with us, you’ll enter the customer into our accounting system, create the customer, create an invoice, once the invoice is paid, additional follow ups may be required, as we may need to know additional information such as backdrop, template, specialty drinks, etc.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Respond to new leads and convert them to our customer via phone & email.
• Locate good leads in a provided database and make warm calls.
• Prioritize and handle all incoming email and telephone calls, scheduling of appointments and maintaining a digital online calendar and eventually manage staff.
• May lead to small process improvement projects, to enable more efficiency.
• Must have flexibility to work extra hours, including early morning and weekends as needed,
• Ideal hours would be from between 10am to 2PM Eastern USA time for any initial and follow-up calls. Emails and other projects can be done afterwards.

• Anticipate the needs of the General Manager and follow through as needed. At times will be asked to attend meetings to take notes and manage meeting agendas.
• Knowledge of objection handling,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Assist with new ways to get leads in (Please share any ideas when applying.)
• Must be approachable and friendly with a “can-do” attitude.
• Looking for someone with a drive to exceed goals.
• High level of accountability to get tasks and projects done accurately and on time.
• High degree of professionalism, diplomacy, discretion, judgment, and cultural sensitivity. Often expected to handle confidential and sensitive materials.
• Demonstrated strong organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and balance priorities.
• Strong team player with the ability to build relationships – both internal and external – at all levels. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Gmail, and the ability to learn new software applications.

Education/Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, customer service, and administrative experience.
• Bookkeeping experience is a plus, but not necessary.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel,
• Experience with Canva, Trello and Wave is highly preferred, but not necessary.
