Job Description

The Sales & Marketing Lead will be an accomplished and confident individual who is familiar with, and thrives within a creative environment. Working closely with the Founders, the prime aim is to arrange face to face and on-line meetings with qualified leads derived from managing a healthy sales pipeline, generating new sales leads, and nurturing the community.

You will be doing a variety of tasks, almost all of which I will create tutorials for you.

Marketing Responsibilities
Planning calendar and scheduling across Instagram, FB, LinkedIn.
Suggest ways to build our community and help to encourage community building and sales
Building engagement & visibility through community management
Engage with the local community and prospect customers to drive brand awareness and sales
Plan and schedule email campaigns in line with the strategy
Outreach to local community
Build database via data collection and competitions
Update website with regular blog posts

Sales Responsibilities
Business development Outreach (60%), including new prospect exploration, monitoring and reviewing inbound leads
Making new connections on LinkedIn, following up on marketing email leads and monitoring conversations across channels. Writing/creating outreach messaging appropriate to an agreed pipeline process
Ad hoc research tasks

Specific responsibilities:
Use research to identify key target individuals in each of our target sectors (Retail, Hospitality and Residential)
in our target geo-markets (primarily in the UK, but also in Europe, parts of Asia and Middle-East)
Nurture relationships, using telephone, email, mail and LinkedIn
Monitor and track all sales activity on a daily basis
Management and development of the company’s sales database
Monitor retail sector media and relevant LinkedIn conversations to identify opportunities for business development
Understand key consumer and retail trends
Make recommendations on improving sales processes where necessary
Assist the Leadership Team with preparation for sales meetings, presentations and pitches
Assist with other marketing, as required
