This position is for a startup, online education platform, which is based in the UK. The position is remote.
We have indicated that we are comfortable with applicants who may only be available part-time to start, but we would prefer that the successful candidate will be open to working with us full-time, as we grow. The opportunity is immense, for the right person.
Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities in the online education industry.
Analyse customer behaviour and preferences to inform marketing strategies and product development.
2. Marketing Strategy Development and Implementation:
Develop comprehensive marketing strategies, which are aligned with business goals and target audience.
Implement effective online and offline marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and attract potential students.
Utilise digital marketing channels, including social media, email, and content marketing, to drive user engagement and conversion.
3. Student Appointment Setting/Recruitment:
Lead the development and execution of student recruitment strategies.
Establish and maintain relationships with potential students through effective communication and outreach.
Collaborate with the content team to create compelling marketing materials that resonate with the target audience.
Set appointments for prospective students with our Dean of Studies, for specialised recruitment activities.
4. Collaboration with Content Team:
Work closely with the content team to align marketing strategies with the educational content being offered.
Leverage existing content and supervise the creation of new materials to support marketing initiatives.
Ensure consistency and alignment between marketing messages and the educational value proposition.
5. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Implement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives.
Provide regular reports on marketing performance and make data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
6. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience in marketing and sales within the education or e-learning industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
