Sales Pricing Agent
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Pricing Agent to join our sales team. As a Sales Pricing Agent, you will be responsible for determining pricing strategies, analyzing market trends, and optimizing pricing models to maximize revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to develop pricing strategies that align with company objectives.
2. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to understand product offerings, target markets, and sales goals.
3. Conduct pricing research and analysis to identify pricing opportunities and recommend pricing adjustments based on market dynamics.
4. Develop pricing models and methodologies to optimize product pricing across different market segments and customer segments.
5. Monitor pricing performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies and make data-driven decisions.
6. Provide pricing guidance and support to sales teams, including price negotiations, discount approvals, and contract pricing.
7. Communicate pricing updates, changes, and promotions internally and externally to stakeholders.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that may impact pricing decisions.
9. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve pricing processes, systems, and tools.
10. Collaborate with product management and operations teams to ensure pricing accuracy and consistency across products and channels.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
2. Proven experience in pricing analysis, sales operations, or related roles.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw insights.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate pricing strategies and recommendations to stakeholders.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, and pricing software.
6. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in pricing calculations and analysis.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically about pricing decisions.
9. Knowledge of pricing strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
10. Experience in the software, technology, or manufacturing industry is a plus.
