We are looking for a driven and experienced Virtual Sales Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to our sales team. For this role, a strong Internet connection is required. Ultimately, you should be able to handle administrative tasks under minimum supervision.
Responsibilities
• Provide sales support to sales staff as assigned.
• Proactively manage quote activity and broker processes. Serve as a liaison for sales staff, brokers, and home office business partners.
• Review RFPs from brokers, consultants, and agents. Prepare proposals and forward to stakeholders.
• Follow-up on requests to ensure timely responses
• Prospect and hunt for the right contacts at targeted companies
• Generate interest through outbound email and phone campaigns
• Follow up with relevant messaging based on targeted segment
• Pre-screening sales leads and sharing information with a member of the sales team for follow-up
• Answering a combination of phone calls, emails, and online chat messages to provide initial support to customers
• Processing sales orders accurately and completely
• Gathering sales quotes
• Creating sales reports to share with executive leadership and senior members of the sales team
• Adhering to the procedures and guidelines of the company
• Staying up to date with emerging trends, available merchandise, and new products that the company will offer to clients and customers
Qualifications
• 2 years + of insurance experience is a plus
• High school diploma or graduate equivalent degree
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications. Utilize search tools to find information.
• Analytical ability with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines
• Proven experience as an assistant working remotely or relevant role
• Excellent phone, email, and instant messaging communication skills
