Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for following up on leads, updating our customer database, and conducting cold calls to prospective clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow-Up on Leads:
Proactively reach out to potential clients who have expressed interest in our products or services.
Maintain a follow-up schedule to ensure timely communication with leads.
Track and document the status of each lead in the CRM system.
Database Management:
Regularly update and maintain the customer database with accurate and current information.
Ensure data integrity by verifying and correcting data as needed.
Generate reports on lead status and sales activities for management review.
Cold Calling:
Identify potential customers through various sources, including business directories and leads databases.
Conduct cold calls to introduce the company’s products or services and identify potential sales opportunities.
Maintain a record of calls and responses for future reference and follow-up.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers.
Address customer inquiries and provide detailed product/service information.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets.
Sales Support:
Assist the sales team with administrative tasks as needed.
Prepare and send out sales materials, proposals, and quotations.
Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings between potential clients and sales representatives.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
