About Us: HomeRoom is a Y-Combinator-backed residential real estate marketplace that simplifies remote investing and streamlines affordable renting. Our platform currently has 750 units in 31 cities across six major metros. We’ve housed more than 1,000 people in HomeRooms, and we expect this number to reach 50,000 by 2024. Role Description: We are looking for a goal-oriented sales professional who is determined to achieve and exceed weekly sales goals. The ideal candidate will love building rapport with their leads and establishing trust to facilitate high close ratios.
Responsibilities:
Manage the leasing process from qualifying the lead to assisting with the application stage.
Engage in constant communication through the leasing process to build rapport, trust, and ensure all questions or concerns are attended to.
Be an expert on all available products in a region – new homes and existing homes. Comfortably speak about the differences between homes, and match/sell the right home/room to the right prospect.
Aim to achieve or exceed weekly leasing goals set by the Leasing Director, focusing on the number of applications submitted, priority rooms, and weekly challenge goals.
Shop competition through website research, testing the actual lease flow, and contacting other sales agents to build a rapport.

Qualifications:
2+ years of sales experience (real estate preferred but not required).
Ability to demonstrate both a consultative and aggressive selling style, tailoring our value to respond to prospects’ specific pain points and challenges.
Comfortable working in environments where you can take initiative and carve out a path to success for yourself.
Flexible schedule, willing to work weekends and evenings.
Emotional intelligence, coachability, and a strong work ethic.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
