JOB SUMMARY
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven sales representative to generate leads and drive sales. The responsibilities include submitting regular sales reports to management, informing potential and existing customers of product features and resolving customer complaints. You should also be able to create as well as present persuasive sales proposals to customers to encourage sales and repeat business.
The sales representative will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele.
They are responsible for offering the best possible customer experience as well as providing hands-on explanations of any new or updated products when necessary.
Their excellent social skills allow them to foster strong relationships, to which they can attribute much of their success.
Candidates work as ambassadors and are responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers based on their assigned territory.
They must build trust and act as support for prospects, ensuring they lead to potential future sales.
To be successful in this position, you should be persuasive and have excellent negotiation skills. Ultimately, the right candidate should be able to demonstrate effective communication and customer service skills to continually meet or exceed sales targets.
Must be able to sell either a product or service over the phone, which means they must have an excellent sales and marketing background, as well as fantastic communication skills and the ability to build networks.
Show either proof of sales record or some similar proof of previous success in order to be considered for this position.
Make calls to prospective customers in designated market areas, explaining type of service or product offered.

FULL DESCRIPTION
This is a sales representative position responsible for promoting the company’s internet products and services and for building relationships with new and existing users. The main focus is to help small businesses within a community expand their blueprint.
An ideal candidate must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below regarding the sales process. The requirements listed are representative of the sales knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within an assigned sales territory.
Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers.
Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales.
Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, users, and sales.
Enters names, addresses, other relevant information etc., and reactions of prospects solicited into computer database system.
Quotes prices and encourage user to sign up.
Regular and reliable attendance is a necessary element of this position.
Present and sell company products to new and existing customers virtually via phone and email communications.
ROLE
Handle entire sales process
Develop new internet business and penetrate existing user base to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives within an assigned territory.
Seek and qualify customer prospects.
Research customer internet needs and develops a mix of products and service to meet needs.
Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers, based on their needs and goals.
Be informed of market conditions, internet product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services provided.
Answer customers’ questions about internet products, prices, availability, and product use.
Provide internet product information and acquisition process to customers.
Manage sign up and set up deliveries to the consumers.
Review and analyze daily and weekly reports such as order summaries, customer files, and sales data.
Sell the company’s products or services to customers within your given territory.
Create and sustain relationships with both old and new customers.
Educate the customers about the products that the company offers.
Survey the market for any new rivals.
Prepare a record of all customers and sales.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field.
EXPERIENCE
A minimum 3 years experience with business-to-business sales roles in Canadian or US markets with demonstrated success in achieving/exceeding sales targets;
5 years of direct sales or related experience preferred.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
Proven sales track record in a performance-based role.
Ability to work independently to manage accounts and drive revenue.
Previous territory sales experience; required.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
Educate small businesses about our product while building value with decision makers.
Build and maintain relationships with owner/operators.
Organizing a territory of leads to provide maximum value.
Working 40 – 50 hours weekly.
Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
Performs other duties as assigned.
