We are looking for a Sales Representative who can assist prospective buyers and close online ecommerce sales.
We’re only looking for full-time long-term, ongoing cooperation.
Work schedule: 8AM to 4PM or 4PM to 11:59 EST US Eastern Time (8PM – 4AM or 4AM to 11:59AM Philippine time), 5 days per week.
This role starts ASAP.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
– Receive incoming phone calls and live chats from potential customers (prospects) who indicated that they need shopping assistance. This does not include calls and chats from existing customers who need help with their orders (that’s the job of a different department)
– Makes follow up calls, writes follow up emails and text messages to potential buyers. We try to follow up 5x with each person who contacted us (unless they indicate that they are no longer interested). We don’t do cold calling. Only reaching out to – prospects that interacted with our online store, and left their contact information.
– After each interaction with a prospect/customer, writes notes & comments in our CRM (Asana)
– Communicate efficiently and build rapport with potential customers
– Assist prospects in their shopping journey, helps make the purchase decision
– Ensures that all prospects’ questions and objections are addressed
– Leads every interaction to a close – which means orders placed on our online store
– Prepares custom quotes, price matches competitors if necessary, and offers custom discounts. This requires calculating margins & ensuring profitability.
– Answering questions about the products we offer, including technical questions. Learns the specifications, features, and benefits of our bestsellers. Over time, becomes an expert in the industry.
– If not able to answer product-specific questions, conduct research on the materials provided by the supplier, or reach out to the supplier to get the information
– Confirms stock availability and lead times when offering products to prospects
– Documents standard procedures and best practices in a written form, so that other team members can learn from them
Requirements:
– At least 2 years experience in sales on the phone
– At least 1 year experience in Customer Service on the phone
– Experience must include both inbound and outbound sales
– Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
– At least 6 months experience in the ecommerce (online shopping) industry
– Outgoing, friendly, and lively
– Can-do mindset, with a sense of ownership, and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success

What we can offer:
– Sales commission: 5% of gross profit from all orders closed. Gross profit means the sale amount minus the product and shipping cost. Paid monthly. No upper limit. Monthly commission payouts range between $400 and – $2,500 (for the top performer).
