Purpose of the Position
The Sales Support Specialist role is a customer-facing position that bridges the gap between sales and customer support. They assist the sales team by promoting products, generating leads, and managing customer accounts. They are also responsible for providing excellent customer service by logging technical issues, responding to inquiries, and building relationships with clients and suppliers.
Responsibilities
Customer Support
• Build and nurture relationships with existing customers.
• Understand, anticipate, and meet customer needs, identifying potential upsell opportunities.
• Respond to inquiries about toners, paper, technical issues, accounts, phone payments, and sales.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers for scheduling and deliveries.
• Troubleshoot technical and toner problems, generating service tickets when needed.
Sales
• Promote Wolfe IT and Toner Print products and services, including cross-selling and upselling contracts.
• Generate leads for new contracts.
• Provide accurate and timely quotes for customers.
• Manage Wolfe products, toner and paper quotes, sales, and delivery tracking.
• Obtain product specifications from suppliers to support quotations.
Inventory Management & Sales Administration:
• Monitor printer and toner levels via Print Audit alerts, responding, recording, and ordering supplies and arranging delivery.
• Maintain stock levels of toners and Wolfe products, ordering as needed.
• Track, receive stock, and enter invoice information into the CRM (Halo).
• Track order progress with suppliers.
• Manage customer returns (RMAs).
Additional Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to the sales team.
• Create, edit, and update sales sheets and service contracts.
• Manage purchase orders, ensuring on-time deliveries.
• Verify receipt of customer supplies reports and online status of managed devices.

Customer Service
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in very strong English to clearly explain products and services, actively listen to customer needs and concerns, and effectively resolve issues.
• Relationship Building: Ability to build rapport and trust with customers through excellent communication (verbal and written) in very strong English.
Sales
• Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of Wolfe IT and Toner Print products and services to effectively promote and sell them, demonstrated through clear and concise communication in very strong English.
• Lead Generation: Skills to identify and develop new sales opportunities, utilising your compelling written and verbal communication.
• Quoting: Ability to generate accurate and timely quotes for customers.
• Upselling and Cross-Selling: Techniques to convince customers to purchase additional products or services, using persuasive communication.
Administration and Organisation
• Inventory Management: Skills to maintain stock levels, track orders, and manage deliveries, with meticulous attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• CRM (Customer Relationship Management) proficiency: Experience using a CRM system like Halo to enter customer data, track interactions, and manage sales activities, utilising your strong English for data entry and communication.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling quotes, orders, and data entry.
Technical Skills
• Basic IT literacy: Familiarity with using computers and relevant software applications.
• Printer troubleshooting: Understanding of common printer and toner problems to assist customers clearly and concisely.
Additional Skills
• Administrative Support: Skills to assist the sales team with various administrative tasks, including creating, editing, and updating documents.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with both internal (sales team) and external (suppliers, customers) contacts.
