Sales Team Member

We are looking for a logistics account executive with combined sales and logistics expertise to sell vehicle and pet shipment solutions. You will be responsible for working with new business prospects (via web leads), interacting with existing clients about their logistics requirements, and organising efficient transportation services with suppliers.

To be successful as a logistics account executive, you need to have extensive sales expertise in a similar industry as well as the ability to find new business prospects. An experienced logistics account executive will be someone whose customer-oriented approach and logistic proficiency result in greater profitability.

Responsibilities:
– To meet sales objectives, evaluate corporate operations, analyse risks, and offer solutions.
– Responding to consumer issues and developing innovative approaches to logistical challenges.
– Maintaining allocated accounts and providing continuous customer assistance.
– Creating and implementing sales strategy centred on logistics services.
– Identifying and contacting potential consumers in order to advertise/promote logistics services and negotiate contracts.
– Using appropriate technologies to optimise logistic services and communication channels.
– Developing and maintaining an effective carrier network and excellent customer relationships.
– Overseeing the sales team, documenting processes, and preparing executive reports.
– Assessing client needs and selecting appropriate means of transportation that meet cost and timeline expectations.
– Working with other departments to optimise logistics services and coordinating shipment and transportation details with suppliers agents.

– Sales experience required
– Outstanding leadership and collaborative qualities
– Problem solving and solution minded approach at all times
– Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiating skills
– Flexibility knowing that plans change so you must adapt and find a solution
– Superb organisational and time management skills
