Job’s description ( Technical Aspect)
Support:
Receiving inbound calls from customers and truckers and properly logging in to internal notes and management communications.(slack)
Types of calls received are the following:
1, customer asking for an update on the order.
2, customer complaint and gives resolution
3, trucker concern
4, supporting the sales department in any calls arising during busy hours most specifically in asking price, wants to finalize the order and give customer service if necessary.
Calling customers asking for shipping experience with the company and seeking company reviews / feedback coming from truckers and shippers.
Dispatch
Order monitoring within 3 days before pick up, raise and keep freshly posted in CD.
Calling carrier in all available routes.
Creating box out posting and alternate routes to be more visible to the trucker.
Logging trucker information to Bats and Company Communications(slack)
Master in Identifying carrier pay using Central Dispatch and negotiating to the trucker if necessary.
Knows the standard in auto shipping such as personal items, condition of the vehicle and timing.
Securing necessary documents from the trucker such as COI and responsible for giving feedback to the trucker and monitoring the rating of the Company in the Central Dispatch.
Maximizing the broker fee by finding a reasonable trucker and negotiating the carrier pay.
Sales
Master in utilizing central dispatching system
Knows how to price customer using CD and knows how to fight the price
Strong negotiation skills
Have an idea of auto transportation such as vehicle type, condition, and be able to identify the customer situation.
Able to deliver result and make broker fee high as possible
must be a closer and have an attitude of “can do” mentality
