Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Salesforce Administrator & Business Development Support Specialist. This role will primarily focus on managing our Salesforce platform, developing dashboards, updating opportunities, and providing general administrative support to the Business Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce functionality, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are an Environmental Health & Safety Consulting and Training Company.

Responsibilities:

Salesforce Administration:
Customize Salesforce fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, and validation rules. Maintain and update Salesforce data, including leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, and activities. Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce issues reported by users. Stay informed about Salesforce updates and implement best practices to optimize system performance.

Dashboard Development:
Design and develop custom dashboards and reports in Salesforce to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Business Development team. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and suggest and customize dashboards to meet specific business needs. This will allow us to analyze data trends and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

Opportunity Management:
Assist the Business Development team in updating and managing opportunities within Salesforce.
Ensure accurate and timely entry of opportunity data, including stage updates, revenue forecasts, and associated activities. Work closely with Sales Representatives to ensure proper documentation and follow-up on opportunities.

General Administration:
Assist with emails, data entry and other duties as assigned. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to company policies and procedures. VPN needed to mask your location.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred.

Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning Experience and familiarity with Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) is a plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to take initiative and drive process improvements.
