Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Schneider PLC Expert with a strong background in working with PLCs, specifically the Schneider M262 series. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing PLC systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations. If you have a passion for automation and a knack for solving complex control issues, we want you on our team.

This is a part time role, but the hours could be increased if you can also draw electrical schematics for our automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

> PLC Programming: Develop, test, and implement PLC programs for Schneider PLCs to control and automate logistics processes.
> System Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing PLC systems to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.
> Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to PLC hardware and software to minimize downtime.
> Integration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC systems with other automation technologies and software.
> Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of PLC programs, configurations, and system changes.
> Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in PLC technology and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Qualifications:

> Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience working with PLCs, particularly Schneider .
> Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text) and Schneider EcoStruxure software.
> Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with a focus on root cause analysis.
> Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
> Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field is preferred.
