Job Title: School Security Grant Writer

Pay Rate – $20/Hour – The initial phase of this role involves a probationary period not to exceed 5 hours per week. Subsequent adjustments to both hours and pay rates may be considered contingent upon overall performance.

Panacea Alliance Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting educational institutions in their pursuit of financial assistance to fortify their campuses against Active Assailant crisis events. Leveraging the expertise of our affiliate, Panacea Integrated Security Solutions, a leader in school security and safety, we aim to bridge funding gaps in schools that fall short in their fundraising efforts.

Job Description:
Panacea Alliance Foundation Inc, is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Security Grant Writer to join our team. The Grant Writer will play a pivotal role in securing funds to support our mission of providing financial assistance to schools in need, particularly those focusing on Security Training and Safety enhancements.

Responsibilities:
1. Grant Research and Identification:
Conduct thorough research to identify grant opportunities that align with Panacea Alliance Foundation’s mission and objectives.
Focus on grants supporting educational institutions, with an emphasis on school security and safety initiatives.

2. Grant Proposal Development:
Collaborate with Panacea Integrated Security Solutions to gather information on successful security and safety programs.
Develop persuasive grant proposals that articulate the Foundation’s commitment to supporting schools in need.
Pursue rapid responses and, optimally, secure approvals shortly after initial submission.
Target early deadlines, aiming for acceptance no later than November 2024.

3. Funding Allocation:
Work closely with the Foundation’s leadership to determine allocation strategies for grant funds.
Ensure funds are directed towards schools facing financial challenges and in need of security and safety enhancements.

4. Collaboration with Panacea Integrated Security Solutions:
Coordinate with Panacea Integrated Security Solutions to gather relevant data and success stories for grant applications.
Highlight the impact of security measures on school environments in grant proposals.

5. Grant Reporting
Prepare comprehensive and accurate grant reports, outlining the utilization of funds and the impact on supported schools.
Ensure compliance with reporting requirements stipulated by grantors.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (communications, nonprofit management, etc.).
• Proven experience in grant writing within the nonprofit sector, with a focus on educational initiatives.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to excellence.
• Familiarity with school security and safety initiatives is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and grant management software.
