Script Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Script Developer to build a script that can extract information from a Google Sheet and send it to a customer service agent. You will be responsible for identifying the relevant columns in the sheet, using a library such as the Google Sheets API to read the data, and storing it in variables. You will work with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and requirements, and troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during the development process.

Responsibilities:

Authenticate and connect to the Shopify or Google Sheets API using API keys and authentication details.
Query the API to extract the relevant data from your Shopify store or Google Sheet.
Format the data to fit your desired output format.
Send the formatted data to your desired destination, such as an email or a chat interface.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and requirements.
Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during the development process.
Maintain code quality and documentation.
Requirements:

Strong programming skills, particularly in Python or other scripting languages.
Knowledge of API development and integration.
Familiarity with Google Sheets API, Shopify API or other similar tools.
Experience working with databases and data structures.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
