The Role:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for collaborating with the sales team to create, qualify, and confirm sales opportunities. This role involves setting qualified appointments for Business Development Representatives (outside sales reps) to achieve monthly quotas.

The Responsibilities:
– Complete at least 5 focused block hours of calling daily, aiming for 100-150 dials.
– Participate in weekly sales meetings and daily huddles to report progress and discuss challenges.
– Follow up on inbound leads to qualify and schedule consultations.
– Manage and track activities in the CRM, ensuring accurate data entry and follow-through on tasks.
– Prepare and dispatch pre-meeting materials, known internally as “Shock-And-Awe” boxes.
– Appointment Management: Confirm inbound and outbound appointments for senior sales consultants and support them with research and materials.

Measures of Success:
– Results: Secure 20 qualified appointments per month that meet “sweet spot” criteria.
– Activity: Maintain a minimum of 100 dials per day, focusing on quality over quantity.
– Compliance: Adhere strictly to the company’s sales processes, scripts, and procedures.
– Knowledge: Continuously learn about the company’s products and promotions to prepare for potential advancement.
– Accuracy: Execute all responsibilities as outlined, aiming for flawless completion.

The Requirements:
– Proven inside sales experience with a focus on cold calling and telemarketing.
– Demonstrated success in client relationship development and sales process management.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong typing skills.
– Excellent organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
– High energy, good negotiation skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changes.
– BA/BS degree, preferably in marketing or a related field.
– At least two years of relevant experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or inside sales.
