Are you a tech-savvy individual with a passion for driving online visibility and success?
We’re seeking a skilled SEO specialist to join our team and elevate our digital presence in the highly competitive hospitality restaurant landscape of New York City. As the SEO specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our websites, ensuring they remain up-to-date and optimized to secure a top-ranking position among restaurant groups in the city.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve the online visibility and search engine rankings of our websites.
Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify high-quality, SEO-friendly content that resonates with both users and search engines.
Perform technical website audits to identify areas for improvement, including site speed, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
Regularly monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and Google Analytics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Keep abreast of search engine algorithm updates and industry trends, adapting strategies accordingly to maintain competitiveness.
Work closely with the development team to implement on-page and technical SEO enhancements including meta tags, schema markup, and site structure improvements.
Optimize local search by managing and maintaining business listings and profiles across various online platforms.
Collaborate with marketing teams to align SEO efforts with broader digital marketing initiatives, including social media, content marketing, and press placements.
Provide regular reports and insights on SEO performance, highlighting key metrics and outlining action plans for improvement.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, with a track record of successful SEO campaigns and improved search rankings.
Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices.
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, etc.
Keen knowledge of building websites in WordPress from start to finish as well as maintaining website updates as needed.
Detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities for each restaurant in our hospitality group as well as others that may be added in the next few years.
Up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in SEO and digital marketing.
