SUMMARY:
CCTV Security Agent is responsible for the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Constantly focus and monitor the site activities via CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) or other surveillance systems.
Respond to the intrusion alarm by informing the team.
Control all access points such as gates, doors, etc from a remote location.
Ensure camera status remains 100% functional and that the video resolution/quality is clear.
Ensure the recording and retrieval system is working
Keep a record on the daily system check the logbook
Video monitoring is the primary duty of the CCTV operator, every 5 minutes the operator should monitor the video feeds from the available cameras, including:
Vulnerable or critical areas
Areas not covered by foot patrols
Remote and low activity areas
The monitoring of life events gives the supervisor the best situational information, therefore, he can make the prompt and appropriate response plan. While you are tracking the live incident you should do the following things;
Track the available camera feeds to monitor the location and activities of the party involved.
Report the incident location and persons to the communication operators or directly to the supervisor.
Report what activities have been going on there to the supervisor or communication operator.
Be vigilant to further safety and security threats during the ongoing incident.
If the incident requires further investigation, the CCTV security agent may need to retrieve the recorded footage from the backup.
Every company has a security policy and procedure for every matter which concerns the security and safe of the organization.
At the time of the following situation, you may require to provide the recorded data only to Police Officer or customer
Internal investigations for the incident
Training activities
Assist the police in the investigation for the particular case.
Access control
Controlling and issuing keys.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be fully fluent in English (Reading, Writing, Speaking)
The ability to pass a drug test and TSA fingerprint background check
The ability to understand and obey all operational and safety procedures
Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance
Have strong verbal communication skills
Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
