We’re looking for help growing leads and customers/members through content marketing for a paid membership helping theater professionals build their dream careers. This is specifically related to the video podcast, blog, and social media of our CEO, who is the public face of this membership.
Our membership community is a few years old, with a fantastic success rate and very happy customers/members. It has the infrastructure and track record in place to really grow. Our members perform on Broadway, in TV/film, on cruise ships, and in theaters around the world.
Your responsibilities would include:
– Using podcast episode transcriptions to come up with the episode title, summary, and timestamps and set it up on our podcast platform
– Creating the episode graphic (based on a template)
– Exporting the video version of the episode and uploading to YouTube
– Repurposing the podcast episode into a blog post and setting it up on WordPress
– Repurposing the podcast episode into social media videos/posts/captions
– Strategizing the copy/graphics for all the content above to increase leads and convert them into customers/members
To qualify for the position, you will need at least 1-3 years experience in the following:
– Content marketing (blogs, podcasts, social media)
– Graphic design
– Conversion copywriting (with excellent English skills)
It’s really important that you:
– Pay very close attention to detail
– Proofread all of your work
– Stick to timelines and delivery dates
– Have at least a general interest in Broadway and the performing arts
You’ll need to use the applications/platforms listed below. You don’t need to be an expert in all of them, but you need to be at least familiar with most of them.
– Descript
– Captivate
– Canva
– WordPress
– Notion (for task management/scheduling)
– YouTube
We’re looking for someone who can grow with us, take more responsibility, become full-time, and eventually manage a team. If you have the following skills, this can help you:
– Analyzing web/social analytics
– Website design
– Scheduling emails in ActiveCampaign
– Knowledge of the theater industry
– A love for helping people hit their career goals
This is a part-time position with very flexible hours. As long as you hit the delivery dates, it doesn’t matter when you are working. You can fully design your work hours around your schedule. We expect the workload to be around 5 hours/week, but this will be based on your speed and can easily be adjusted accordingly. We are seeking quality work, so if more than 5 hours are needed to complete the tasks, we will increase the timing/pay.
You’ll work directly with the CEO and receive training on our workflow with the applications/platforms we use. Questions are highly encouraged—we want you to be set up for success, enjoy what you’re doing, and have the easiest experience for completing your work.
When applying, please put “I’m your next VA” in the subject heading. Please also include samples of your content marketing work and the results they created. For example, list what you specifically did and by what percentage or amount it increased traffic, followers, leads, conversions, etc.
Thank you, and we look forward to hearing from you!
