Seeking a Part Time Social Media + Digital Media Virtual Assistant

Hello! My name is Tara Murphy, and I’m looking for a digital and social media VA for my social media consulting business. I work with several brands on different IGC and UGC projects, as well as social media management for various brands around the world. I am looking for a VA who has an incredibly STRONG understanding of all social media platforms. You will be helping with all aspects of the “behind-the-scenes” for a social media business (website, email marketing, social media, digital media). I’m a female entrepreneur who believes in building up everyone that I work with, so we provide training and direct feedback to help mentor you as well.
Please note:
This is a position where there is room to grow! I do need the ideal candidate to be available to contact Mon-Friday ET (in the mornings) if anything is needed but you have lots of time for your own work and other projects!
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Strong understanding/experience of all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and how to post/manage accounts
2. Strong attention to detail
3. Ability to design in Canva (graphics and videos)
4. Content Creation, Idea Generation for brands + Video Editing Skills (Carousels, Reels, TikTok, YouTube)
5. Can take direction and initiative to solve problems
6. Able to work hours in the morning EST (Monday through Friday)
7. Excellent English speaking and writing skills
8. Knowledge of the Kajabi Platform and Wix Web Design and Asana (a valuable asset)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Content Creation (content strategy, creating reels, grid posts, stories, email campaigns where necessary)
2. Building Out and Managing Social Media Schedules and Calendars (building out and planning social media postings)
3. Posting on Social Media platforms ?(Instagram, Facebook and TikTok)
4. Identifying Trends for Social Media + Daily Social Engagement
5. Building Out Digital Assets (using Canva as needed)
COMPENSATION:
This is a part time role. Pay will be $150 CAD per month to start for approximately 10 hours of work per week. The pay works out to between $3-5CAD per hour based on tasks and experience, and hours may go up if we work well together! There IS opportunity to grow.
