Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated, highly focused, and ambitious Accounts Clerk to join a growing business and become part of our strong team of professionals.

As an Accounts Clerk, you will become key support to a growing business, performing a variety of clerical duties in accordance with the standard operating procedures including settling budgets, billing clients, creditor and expenditure management and payroll.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, Corporate Accountant and Office Manager, your responsibilities include but not limited to:

– Clerical duties relating to accounts payable/receivable.
– Clerical duties relating to timesheet report and daily processing of timecard submissions.
– Review and reporting of aged receivables and ensure timely collection of accounts.
– Review and reporting of aged payables ament of creditors.
– Ensure AR/AP-related transactions adhere to company terms and conditions.
– Review and reporting of Customer Statement of Account.
– Allocations, receipting and collections of all client revenue and billing-related transactions.
– End of month reconciliations.
– Processing of customer invoices, purchase orders and credit adjustment notes.
– Other general clerical duties and customer service as directed by management.

Technical Requirements

– BS in Accounting or other Business/Finance related degrees.
– Proficient with MYOB accounting system a must.
– Proficient with simPRO job management system but not essential.
– Proficient with Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, Projects, PowerPoint).
– Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
– Strong conflict resolution with the ability to adapt to the rapid changes of collections without compromising service or customer satisfaction.
– Strong hunger or desire to improve professionally without compromising self-development, research and methodologies and – be able to adapt to rapidly changing trends.
– Flexible and fluid in the role and willing to aid others when in need.
– Strong desire to become a team player and a pillar to our growing business needs.
– Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively build relationships with customers, suppliers and other team members.
– Values honesty and integrity.
– We are seeking a Cebu-based resident to work physically at our local Cebu office.
