Core Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React, PHP (Laravel 10+), and JavaScript (vanilla).
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, integrating with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Digital Ocean.
• Collaborate across a multinational team to develop, refine, and launch scalable solutions.
• Uphold code quality and scalability through best practices in OOP, testing, and version control.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
• 4 years of JavaScript experience.
• 4 years of PHP and Laravel experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with Node/Express, Nest, or similar back-end frameworks.
• Experience with at least one PHP and one JS stack: LERP, LEMPBL or LAMPB (with or without Livewire), MERN, PERN, or LAMPB with Filament or similar.
• 3 years of experience using SQL-based databases.
• 2 years of experience using MongoDB/NoSQL.
• Ability to use Linux and access servers via SSH.
• Experience using Heroku, Render, DigitalOcean, or other cloud-based managed applications.
• Proficiency in React (or similar frameworks), PHP 8.1 or above, Laravel (version 10 or above), HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript.
• Excellent command of English and strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with Git/GitLab/GitHub or a similar version control system.
• Stable internet connection and your own hardware (preferably a laptop).
Additional Desired Skills:
• Experience with Laravel Blade and Livewire (or similar frameworks) is highly desirable.
• Experience with or similar SSR JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of Docker and basic Linux usage.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD frameworks or Docker.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as PHPUnit, Pest, Jest, or other JavaScript testing frameworks.
• Any DevOps experience (Ansible, Kubernetes, Chef, Puppet, or similar platforms).
• Experience with PowerShell, MacOS terminal, or Linux command line interface.
Benefits:
• Competitive salary range of ?75,000 to ?90,000 per month dependent upon experience.
