About Us:
Marquee Letters Toronto is a leading event decor and rental company specializing in unique event props, custom backdrops, and marquee letters. In addition, we are launching a new handbag brand and are seeking additional expertise for managing and optimizing our Shopify store and marketing efforts. As this is a hybrid position between both businesses, this position requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience.
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Shopify and Marketing Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for marketing for Marquee Letters Toronto and managing our Shopify store and marketing for the new handbag brand. While marketing is a main focus for Marquee Letters Toronto, you may also be needed to fill other needs for the company while working alongside the team. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online store for the new handbag brand and creating marketing plans that showcase our unique handbag offerings to the widest audience possible. Facebook ads expertise is a must for this position.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute marketing strategies for Marquee Letters Toronto across multiple platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, and TikTok.
– Manage and optimize our Shopify store for the new handbag brand, ensuring it is optimized for conversions and user experience.
– Create comprehensive marketing strategies for the new handbag brand to be delivered to us for execution.
Analyze and report on potential campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
– Identify and explore new marketing opportunities to expand brand visibility.
– Develop engaging ad copy and compelling visuals for various marketing platforms.
– Maintain a marketing calendar to ensure consistent campaign launches.
Requirements:
– Proven experience with Shopify and digital marketing across multiple social media platforms and digital marketing channels.
– Strong knowledge of Shopify and Facebook Ads Manager are required. Instagram Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads are a plus.
– Expertise in Facebook ads is required.
– Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
– Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design platforms.
– Extensive portfolio showcasing successful Shopify management and marketing campaigns and results (required for consideration).
– At least three years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of skills and experience.
– Exceptional copywriting and creative skills, with a keen eye for design.
– Knowledge of social media trends and emerging marketing opportunities.
– Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
– Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills:
– Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies.
– Web building knowledge.
– Experience with event rental or decor companies or fashion/apparel companies is a plus.
