We’re seeking a driven Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator to play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing commissions, and ensuring seamless payroll processing using Gusto. This position requires a candidate who excels in both bookkeeping responsibilities and payroll administration, contributing to the financial health and operational efficiency of Virtue Health.

What You Will Do

Bookkeeping:

– Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using advanced accounting software.

– Record daily financial transactions, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.

– Reconcile bank statements to ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Commissions Tracking:

– Implement and maintain a robust system for tracking commissions earned, collaborating closely with sales and management teams.

– Ensure accurate commission calculations and promptly resolve any discrepancies.

General Bookkeeping and Payroll Administration Tasks:

– Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.

– Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and tax returns.

– Collaborate with the finance team to enhance financial processes and procedures.

– Ensure compliance with payroll-related regulations and stay updated on relevant changes.

What You Offer

5+ years professional experience as a Bookkeeper

3+ years QuickBooks Experience

Experience with Excel formulas (e.g., SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)

Proficient in US accounting principles and practices

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organizational and time-management skills
