Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the transition from our current operations and overseeing a team of accounting professionals. Your expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis, along with your strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, will be essential in ensuring accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the transition from the current operations and lead a team of accountants.
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and standards.
Conduct monthly account reconciliations, identify and resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
Utilize Quickbooks Online, Click to view, and expense management software (Ramp, Divvy, Brex) to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
Manage bank transactions, financial data, and generate reports for analysis.
Support audit activities by gathering necessary documentation, generating requests, and addressing tax and payroll issues.
Review and maintain accurate fixed asset records, ensuring proper classification and depreciation.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets.
Collaborate with the US-based accounting team and effectively communicate and respond to client inquiries.
Assist with annual financial audits, annual recurring revenue calculations, and tax preparation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA preferred but not required).
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the SaaS industry.
Expertise in using Quickbooks is essential.
Knowledge of Click to view and NetSuite is preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong management skills to lead and mentor a team effectively.
